Motorcycle Driving Course A1
The course is a thorough preparation for the Module One and Module Two tests. The training includes a variety of angles starting from parked vehicles and hill starts as along with basic road riding skills such as controlled stops and emergency responses.

Theory
The course includes all the theoretical preparation you need for the test. You can learn on your own with online classes as well as the theory materials. After enrolling in our system, you will receive instructions on how to take part in these classes online in the virtual classroom (in Finnish). You can then select the most suitable time for your needs.
In this stage you will learn the basics of motorcycling from your instructor. You will learn about safety guidelines and traffic laws, as well some of the more complex components of the vehicle. You will be taught the fundamental knowledge required for all license categories as well as the specific requirements of the category you select.
The motorcycle driving theory module included in the course pack will prepare you for the motorcycle driving licence theoretical test. This is a crucial component of your education, and will assist you in passing the test. The theory test is a written examination and consists of 40 questions as well as two hazard perception clips. You must answer at least 28 out of the 40 questions correctly to pass the test.

Practical
Motorcycle driving courses also offer practical classes. These are the primary components of your education and can be spread out over a few days or longer, based on your requirements. You'll need your own vehicle to complete this course. You should choose a motorcycle you can easily handle, that is not too heavy or speedy. A good place to start is with a 50cc moped or scooter.
The practical test is the next stage after you have completed your theoretical training. It's divided into two parts: Module 1 as well as Module 2. The first portion of Module 1 is a 40 minute road ride. The second part is an individual riding section lasting 10 minutes. Both parts are required to obtain your license.

This course must be taken on the bike you plan to use and approved by your instructor.
You'll need to have a motorbike that is road-legal (taxed, insured, and with an active MoT when it's more than three years old) that has full-sized L-plates both front and back and equipped with mirrors. You will also need to ensure that the motorcycle is suitable for the test, and has a helmet and clothing that suits the conditions.
The Assessment

Your A1 license will only be valid for a period of two years. After two years, you will be required to upgrade to an A2 license, which gives you more freedom to drive.

Licensing
The first step toward obtaining a motorcycle licence is the Compulsory Basic Training (CBT). After passing the CBT, you are legally able to be able to ride a motorcycle up to 35 kW. It could be anything from a moped up to a small scooter.
CBT is a mix of theoretical and practical training. It helps you understand and follow the rules and regulations you must follow when driving. The course lasts for 12 hours and is broken down into three modules of four hours each. Before you can take your driving test in category A1, you must complete all three modules. You must be 18 years of age to pass the course.
You must get at least 25 points to pass the theory test. To pass the test you must answer all questions correctly. There are no Retakes. The test takes 45 minutes and can be taken at any TUV or Dekra branch of your choice.
The practical portion lasts for 12 hours, and is divided into three sections of four hours each. You must be at least 18 years old in order to pass the practical course, and you must be able to operate any motorbike from 50cc to a 35kW motorcycle. You must be competent to manage and control the vehicle in various situations, including passing turning left or right, and changing lanes.
Once you've completed your theoretical and practical lessons, you are ready to take your driving test to obtain the category A1 license. The test is a series of riding techniques on a motorcycle that your instructor will provide. You should also be able to demonstrate that you can control the bike in various circumstances and in all weather conditions.
To pass the test you must have completed at least five hours of riding on Federal or Country Roads and four additional hours during the daytime or at dawn. You must also complete the required number of special rides. The instructor will inform you when you are ready to take the test and give you tips on how to get it passed.
